MG&E participates in the Salvation Army’s Good Neighbor Energy Fund. This is a voluntary program that gives our customers a chance to help their neighbors in financial crisis. Because we promote this important program and our customers contribute to the fund, help is available to MG&E customers allowing them to pay their MG&E utility bills in emergency situations.

Customers who want to help others can make a voluntary contribution to the fund and really make a difference in the lives of families experiencing temporary problems in this time of economic uncertainty. Donating is easy. Make a one-time contribution to the fund when you receive the Good Neighbor contribution envelope in your bills this winter. Or drop by our 32 South Main Street office, get an envelope there and send your check or money-order directly to Good Neighbor.
