Home Energy Watch Kits Available at Libraries

MG&E has supplied both the Middleborough and Lakeville public libraries with our Home Energy Watch Kits to be borrowed by residential customers with a library card. The kits feature the Kill-A-Watt EZ appliance meter that you can plug into any 120-volt household appliance to gauge its energy use and cost to operate. The meters come pre-programmed with the average cost per kilowatt-hour for MG&E customers. Check your library for availability.

Another drop in Gas charges for MG&E customers

Heating bills will average 20% lower than last winter now that the Department has dropped natural gas fuel charges (PGA on the bill) another 5 cents per hundred cubic feet (ccf), bringing the total drop since last year to 34 cents per ccf. Typical residential heating customers will likely save more than $100 compared to last year's costs. Read the press release below for details.
