2. State the material you are bidding on.

Current Bids

The Light Board on behalf of the Middleborough Gas & Electric Department invites qualified persons to submit bids for the exterior painting and preservation/repair of the office building at the Middleborough Gas & Electric Department (MGED) at 32 South Main Street in Middleborough, MA, a home in a registered historic district - the "Philander Washburn House - circa 1832".

Bids will be received at the Office Division, 32 South Main Street, Middleborough, Massachusetts until Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 12:00 noon at which time they will be opened and read aloud. Any bids received after this time and date specified will not be considered.

Work includes preparation, scraping and painting of the complete exterior surfaces of the building (excepting the recently restored shutters which shall be removed and re-installed); cleaning out and repair of the gutters and downspouts and repairs of the connections of existing downspouts to existing drains. Also minor additional repairs and repair to the entry door.
